What do you like about yoga and Pilates?
That everyone and anyone can take it! It's a total myth that you have to be flexible to practice yoga or Pilates. There is so more to it - it's a way to quiet your mind and tap into the natural flow of the universe.
What are your classes like?
Flowing through my yoga class is kind of like moving meditation - all you have to do is focus on breathing! I'll be here to lead you through the rest.
In my Pilates class, we will work on the whole body and you will leave feeling stronger than before - with some good soreness too!
What's your background?
I have trained with Om Factory, Polestar Pilates and IM=X Pilates. I also received a BA in Philosophy & Religion from Rutgers University. I'm always looking for ways to further my studies.

What do you like about yoga and Pilates?
I love that yoga requires me to be present. Sometimes staying in the moment can be difficult and with yoga I am able to focus on what is happening as it’s happening, without being distracted about what I have to do the next day.

I love that yoga requires me to be present. Sometimes staying in the moment can be difficult and with yoga I am able to focus on what is happening as it’s happening, without being distracted about what I have to do the next day.
What are your classes like?
My classes focus on warming up the body and getting a little sweaty, then deep, long stretches focusing on releasing deep muscles fibers. So you’ll become stronger as you become more mobile and flexible in both body and mind.
What's your background?
I’ve been a consistent yoga practitioner since 2015 and I received my yoga teaching certificate in the summer of 2019. I did my 200hr RYT with Breathe for Change - a yoga teacher program focused on certifying people in the education field. I am a graduate of TCNJ and that is where I had my first exposure to yoga during my freshmen year in 2011.

I discovered Pilates over 15 years ago. I was looking for a new workout challenge, and I had heard good things about Pilates, so I decided to give it a try. I signed up for a mat class, and I was hooked. Pilates is challenging and hard work, but I love it. I am passionate about teaching the classical Pilates method because I believe that it can change people's lives. I love when students come to me after class with a smile on their face, telling me how amazing the class was and how great they feel.
What do you like about yoga and Pilates?
I like Pilates because of how it makes me feel. It has helped me become more in tune with my body and what it can do. It has also helped me stay flexible and mobile as I get older.
What are your classes like?
My classes follow the teachings of Joseph Pilates as closely as possible. They are fun and challenging.
What's your background?
My background is that I work full-time in the corporate world and teach Pilates as a side hustle. I am also a certified nutrition coach, and I am hoping to become a certified personal trainer in the future.

While yoga is an active movement practice based on asanas (postures), as a Reiki Master, Yureea's intention in teaching yoga is to re-frame the idea that yoga is about flexibility. Yureea's classes are intended to help students connect to their bodies as a mechanism to understand their mental and emotional health. Yoga directly translates to "union" and her classes are intended to bring awareness to the body and breath in order to take yoga beyond the classroom and into managing daily stressors and emotions in a busy and ever-changing world.
What do you like about yoga and Pilates?
It is a way to disconnect from technology, and focus on the here and now! By being with our bodies on the mat, we are giving ourselves time to recover, circulate, and revitalize our energy (chi, qi) and take on another day with confidence.
What are your classes like?
Flowing through my class, each class will be a little varied with a mix of Kundalini, Vinyasa, and Hatha flows. I like to focus on each body part while in each pose to build bodily awareness, oftentimes that comes with breathwork and meditation to bring students into the present moment.
What's your background?
I completed my RYT 200-hour training in August 2017 with Yandara Yoga Institute in Sweden. I have been practicing on and off since I was first introduced to yoga as a 14-year-old going into high school. Loving movement as a way to ground and energize my mind and body, I also have taught Cross Training, Spinning, and Women's Boxing.

Jackie has been an avid outdoor enthusiast since young, from swimming in the pools and open seas to rowing in lakes and reservoirs. A few years ago, she accidentally discovered a penchant for yoga as a soothing rehabilitation for her body, and gradually felt a kinship and curiosity to the practice. As a result, Jackie underwent her first 200HR Vinyasa and Hatha training, and has since been teaching and encouraging fellow yogis to explore their respective journeys with yoga.
What do you like about yoga and Pilates?
I understand that life is already difficult on its own, and we have to deal with the cards we are dealt. It only makes sense to think about what we can control, and not to worry about things we cannot control. One of the key aspects of what we can control is our mind - where yoga and pilates can be pivotal in helping us to do so. They allow us to channel our focus onto the present moment, and teach us to take a step at a time. They are our cocoons of self-embodiment, resilience and strength, which are key ingredients to establishing a healthy mindset to take on things that come our way.
What are your classes like?
My teachings come with a focus on proper alignment, accompanied with physical adjustments in order to enable my students to explore the depths of a pose safely. I believe that anyone can benefit from yoga, as long as the heart is open, and the mind is willing. There is no such thing as "cannot" in my class, my mission is to bring accessibility to yoga for everyone by deconstructing advanced asanas into clear, instructional phases and steps to attempt
What's your background?
I started yoga as a complement to my triathlon training during university days in order to extend greater range of movement, stability and endurance. This continued on during my corporate days, and manifested into a deeper layer of understanding towards yoga. I found my aptitude towards helping yogis through demonstration and sharing of techniques and tips for poses. My decade of background in competitive sports assists in my knowledge of stretches and movements to strengthen muscles and improve flexibility - something that I very much practice on a daily basis.

What do you like about yoga and Pilates?
It's a safe, positive space for you to discover the joy of moving! Someone once did that for me, and so I hope to do the same for my students.

The yoga classes I teach are peaceful yet powerful. I always try to provide options for my students, whether it be a something more challenging or restorative.
What's your background?
